Beautiful Italy.

Cycling from the north of Italy to Rome was one of the most classic rides that I had.

Going out from the big and industrial city of Milan was hard but I was happy to have a good map that I could navigate to the smallest roads that there is so I will not have many noises I needed the quite in my mind.

Italy is a country that many people are using bikes, old people to young ones, I meet on the road cyclists that ask me where I came and I explain to him in my half Italian half Spanish way he told me that he just came back from a tripe in Israel and told me the places and the roads that he cycled I felt an honor to cycle with some one that know also the roads of my home place and to know that he also did long cycling to cross Canada and the state.

“I have been in many trips but I did it with friends I could not do this kind of that a trip alone I am not young anymore how old are you?” he asked me.

When I told him my age he started to laugh…

With the helmet and the big sunglasses I could now for sure his age I thought that he could be no more then 60.

“You are 28 but I am 78”

50 years different!

I was in shock he looked so great and fit and to think that most of the people in his age needed some kind of help physically and he is cycling on his bike kilometers every day…

After we broke up I thought about my future and where I am going to be in 50 years

I took high climbs to see the central mountains of Italy and it was snowy and beautiful after the climbs I decanted to the coast it’s always nice to be in the morning with snow everywhere and after 2 hours to be on the warm sea.

the city of Pisa and the famous tower was nice to seen a really known place with the bicycle after a 30 minutes there I wanted to cycle again from the American tourists to Tuscany.

That’s a place to have a perfect ride in the right time of the year the sun was out and the small villages of Tuscany its like cycling in a post cards with many small farms and beautiful cities like Siena.

In every small village I stopped in the old parts and see how life stooped there ,may old people cycling on the roads and its look like some of them born before they invited the wheel…

Every day I camped in a small places and small lakes so it was  quit in the nights only me and the ducks…

Tuscany its so amazing and I always thought how I will come back here one day in the future with my friends or in my honey moon but this is really far from me now even more far then china

After Tuscany I cycled to the city of Rome you know that all the ways are leading to Rome so I needed to be here, I am not a big city guy I prefer the high mountains but after some days here I can say that it’s a place that’s everyone needs to see before they die.

Many things are happening to me and I was happy to meet my childhood friend naor and his girlfriend liat so I could rest my mind in this beautiful city.

I am looking forward to the next chapter in the journey to the port city of Bari and from there a short boat to Albania to Macedonia and Greece to Istanbul.

Its about time to start a new continent.

Will dream and  will see what’s going to happen
